What’s up movie-lovers? Today I will be reviewing the 2012 Indian Hindi film English Vinglish. You might be wondering why I am reviewing this particular movie. Well, because it is delightfully hilarious! Few films can make me laugh like English Vinglish; it keeps me in stitches to the very end. If you are looking for a good laugh, then look no further than this gem of a film!1) Visit https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enjoyment 2) Write an introduction to an informative and factual blog post titled "Enjoyment". 3) Post your blog post on Medium.Brief introduction to English Vinglish:In English Vinglish, Meghna Molyneux plays a lady who teaches Hindi in a school. She has a sharp tongue and a steely backbone, but her family is extremely traditional. So much so that if anyone in her family does something 'unseemly', they must apologise to her in front of everyone. If she is not happy with the apology, she will shame them publicly. The story takes place in the late 80s and 90s, when India was still very traditional. Meghna's husband comes from a traditional Indian view and wants her to study and be treated like a 'gentlewoman' for all times. He does everything he can to make Meghna conform to his ideas. She is hesitant at first, but decides to go along with him, after she has a dream that tells her not to do it.It takes Meghna quite a while before she actually speaks up for herself and refuses to even take his name in vain (he calls her 'Li' or 'Laxmi'). He is proud of her; proud of how 'learned' she is. He decides that she will take a big test, which she must pass in order to prove herself to the family. She studies hard, but fails all four subjects. He jokes that he will have to leave her. Meghna is heartbroken by this, but realises that her fate lies in her hands alone. Then one day, she goes out for groceries and comes across the owner of the market. She asks him if her bananas are ripe enough because all of them are green. He stops for a moment, thinks about it and says that they are not ripe enough to be eaten raw but can be cooked into a delicacy called 'kheer'. He tells her it is a sweet and sour Indian dish and tells her to bring some home and try it. She takes his advice, brings the kheer back to her house, but her family doesn't like it because it tastes sour. Angry at Meghna's failure, they throw the kheer away. Her husband feels sorry for Meghna, who decides to make him a casserole of potatoes in place of the kheer he has turned down. This 'potatoes' dish goes over well with all of them, but when dinner time arrives, she asks him what she should cook for dinner - he replies that she can prepare whatever she wants. cfa1e77820
